Every new year - resolutions are made and kept for a few days and then broken. In interior design, we love eclectic tastes that sway with a home owner's vision and flair - which changes from time to time. We call this "Mid Century" madness where young and daring designers are mixing and matching opposite styes of furnishings and home decor. Decorating a traditional round Biedermeier table with clean Danish Modern chairs (circa 1960) would have sounded outrageous a previous century ago - but not any more.
