At Greene Street Interiors; a new shipment of mid century furnishings from USA and Europe has arrived with absolutely wonderful prices. Biedermeier and Art Deco antiques are also selling out at 30% - 45% discounts. The dramatic discounts (unusual for Soho furniture dealers) has motivated lots of young designers and decorators to renovate and redecorate their dwellings in this tight economy. For a few years now, younger home owners have procrastinated their interior design needs due to an uncertain financial market and future. Luckily sales have been brisk since Fall 2011 - hopefully bringing forth a much needed harbinger to retail marketing!
